I envision MISAns to become more aware of what MISA is and hopes to be. I hope MISAns will uphold the values of MISA not only in their stay in Ateneo, but also in their professional lives.
Platforms
To achieve the vision of making MISAns more aware of MISA's values and ensuring they uphold them beyond their time at Ateneo, I propose implementing the following strategies for the Marketing Cluster:
Collaboration, Empowerment, and Inclusivity
Promote more agency among Officers, SRMs, and BETA members
Make primers, toolkits, trackers, and post-activity reports more editable, so that Officers and SRMs can learn the processes better in the cluster and the organization, as well as suggest improvements
Guide officers and SRMs to add to and organize partner databases
Include pronouns in email signatures
Continue the initiative of being open to voluntary consultations
Bridging Gaps and Breaking Down Barriers
Changes in how meetings and updates are done
Avoiding silo-ed sub-clusters (CorRel, OrgRel, and AlRel) by having joint onboardings
Holding monthly online meetings with the entire cluster
The meeting will have this agenda: Kamustahan, Updates, and Suggestions
Having asynchronous updates (“On Wednesdays, We Update!”)
Enhance the process for coordinating partner/sponsor details with relevant clusters
Have formal documentation for this with the help of ASGs and make it available to all officers in the org or to the whole org)
Have a pool of people who can do partnership responsibilities
Have a point system for every like/share/participation in a partner’s event so they can get incentives
Make MISA & MKT AMazing
Establish branding in Emails: "Yours in advancing IT management for social impact"
Actively communicate the importance of the Marketing cluster in the future GA and cluster workshops to increase member sign-ups and engagements
Aim to get 90,000 pesos worth of cash sponsorships and x-deals
By implementing these strategies, we can ensure that MISAns under the marketing cluster not only understand the values of MISA, which are professionalism, servant leadership, and excellence, but also actively embody them in their personal and professional lives, contributing to the organization's long-term impact and legacy beyond their time at Ateneo.
