The Human Resources Cluster is responsible for managing the member and officer recruitment, development, evaluation, and empowerment initiatives and activities of the organization, which help members develop not just their technical skills but also their interpersonal skills.

Member Relations Officer

Description

  • The Member Relations Officer plays a key role in bringing MISAns together and building a warm, engaging, and inclusive community. They are in charge of organizing monthly HR initiatives and leading the MISAyang Samahan family system. Their main goal is to foster member engagement by creating fun and meaningful spaces where MISAns can meet, bond, and feel part of the MISA community.

Responsibilities:

  • Organize and lead monthly HR initiatives

    • Includes venue reservation, logistics coordination, and managing RSVPs

    • Includes ideating, planning, and executing programs for each initiative

  • Spearhead all activities under MISAyang Samahan

    • Oversees and regularly communicate with MISAyang Samahan Family Heads

    • In charge of integrating MISAyang Samahan with monthly HR initiatives

    • Communicates with other MISA clusters for intercluster collaborations involving MISAyang Samahan

  • Serve as a key driver of member engagement and community-building

    • Ensures that the well-being and internal relationships of MISA members are cared for at an organizational level

Hosts Pool

Description

  • Officers that will take on the role of emcee/host during either internal or external MISA Events.

Responsibilities:

Applying for this role would entail that you are:

  • Confident in public speaking

  • Creative and witty with improvisation

  • Willing to be deployed solo or with a partner host

  • Will be deployed as the Event Host for the different Internal and External Events of MISA

  • Communicates with the Project Core team of the event he/she has been deployed to for dry runs

Officer Relations Officer

Description

  • The Officer Relations Officer is responsible for managing officer relations and promoting their overall well-being within MISA. They oversee officer cluster dynamics, ensuring work-life balance and strong working relationships among officers. Each Officer Relations Officer (OReO) will be assigned to a specific MISA cluster, where they will serve as the designated HR support for the cluster. In this role, they will help monitor and care for officer welfare. OReOs will also facilitate and spearhead both cluster-based and BETA-wide hangouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the HR point person for the assigned officer cluster

  • Facilitate and organize cluster hangouts for their respective clusters

    • Communicates and coordinates with the BETA of the cluster for the hangouts

    • Handles program planning, logistics coordination and venue coordination

  • Supports the assigned cluster’s HR-related needs, including officer wellbeing, communication, and dynamics

  • Help clear interpersonal or workflow impediments that may arise within the cluster

  • Champion officer work-life balance by promoting a healthy, people-first working culture

  • Ensure officers have meaningful avenues to build rapport and friendships both within and beyond their cluster

  • Monitor officer welfare through Monthly Officer Check-In Forms and follow-up conversations

    • Conduct individual consultations with officers as needed to check in on their well-being and offer support

Human Resources Project Officer

Description

  • The Human Resources Project Officer is responsible for finding hosts, speakers, and the like as needed by the event’s program. They are responsible for accomplishing any documentation related to such. They are also in charge of fostering proper internal relationships among core team members through efforts, like group dynamics for core team bonding sessions.

Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of group dynamics for core team bonding and meeting sessions

  • Conduct individual consultations with core team members through Google Calendar Appointment Schedule

  • Ensure that the well-being and internal relationships among core team members are suitable for a working environment

  • Be in charge of looking for speakers/hosts/volunteers needed for the event

  • Orient speakers/hosts/volunteers and make sure that they know their responsibilities, and manage their time on stage accordingly
