The Human Resources Cluster is responsible for managing the member and officer recruitment, development, evaluation, and empowerment initiatives and activities of the organization, which help members develop not just their technical skills but also their interpersonal skills.

Member Relations Officer

Description

  • The Member Relations Officer is responsible for organizing monthly HR initiatives, spearheading MISAyang Samahan activities. The main goal for MemRel officers are to manage member engagement, ensuring MISAns have avenues to meet new people and be a part of MISA. These responsibilities include venue reservation, activity creation, facilitating the initiatives themselves, as well as being in charge of seasonal gimmicks such as MISA Halloween parties and Christmas parties.

Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of organizing monthly HR initiatives

    • Includes venue reservation, other logistics needs, and RSVP.

    • Includes creating the theme for each initiative with accompanying program.

  • Responsible for spearheading MISAyang Samahan initiatives

    • Trains, oversees, and communicates with MISAyang Samahan Family Heads

    • In charge of integrating MISAyang Samahan with monthly HR initiatives through incentives.

    • Communicates with other MISA clusters for MISAyang Samahan integration.

  • Conduct individual consultations with core team members

  • Ensure that the well-being and internal relationships among MISA members are cared for at an organizational level

Hosts Pool

Description

Officers that will take on the role of emcee/host during either internal or external MISA Events.

Roles and Responsibilities

 Applying for this role would entail that you are:

  • Confident in public speaking

  • Creative and witty with improvisation

  • Willing to be deployed solo or with a partner host

  • Will be deployed as the Event Host for the different Internal and External Events of MISA

  • Communicates with the Project Core team of the event he/she has been deployed to for dry runs

Officer Relations Officer

Description

  • The Officer Relations Officer is responsible for managing MISA Officer relations and well-being. Responsible for Officer Cluster dynamics, balance, and official functions, ORel officers will be assigned to each cluster of MISA as a cluster Officer Relations Officer (OReO), and spearhead cluster and BETA hangouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of facilitating and organizing cluster hangouts for their respective clusters.

    • Includes logistical and program needs

  • Responsible for supporting their respective cluster in HR needs

    • In charge of clearing impediments for clusters

    • Champions officer work-life balance

    • Responsible for ensuring MISA officers have avenues to build rapport and friendships

  • Conduct individual consultations with officers.

Human Resources Project Officer

Description

  • The Human Resources Project Officer is responsible for finding hosts, speakers, and the like as needed by the event’s program. They are responsible for accomplishing any documentation related to such. They are also in charge of fostering proper internal relationships among core team members through efforts like organizing meetings, and supporting Events Core Teams in team management needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Be in charge of facilitating "Kickstart" meetings for Events Core Teams, dedicated to building rapport and forming connections before work is done

  • Responsible for supporting Events Core Team needs by organizing meetings, both onsite and online.

    • Includes venue reservation, RSVP, and additional Project Director needs

  • Conduct individual consultations with core team members

  • Ensure that the well-being and internal relationships among core team members are suitable for a working environment

  • Be in charge of looking for speakers/hosts/volunteers needed for the event

  • Orient speakers/hosts/volunteers and make sure that they know their responsibilities, and

  • Create a comprehensive Performance Report through the Performance Management System
